Requiring password reset for email sign-in accounts¶
Administrators can require users to reset their email sign-in passwords the next time they sign in. In addition, Certificate Manager - SaaS enforces password resets every 12 months automatically.
Prerequisite¶
Before you can enable the password reset option, ensure you have administrator access to Certificate Manager - SaaS.
To enable the password reset requirement for a user's email sign-in account¶

Sign in to Venafi Control Plane.

Click Settings > Users.

Locate and select the user account you want to configure.

Select Require password change at next sign-in, and then click Save.
The next time the user attempts to sign in, they will be required to reset their account.
