Requiring password reset for email sign-in accounts

Administrators can require users to reset their email sign-in passwords the next time they sign in. In addition, Certificate Manager - SaaS enforces password resets every 12 months automatically.

Prerequisite

Before you can enable the password reset option, ensure you have administrator access to Certificate Manager - SaaS.

To enable the password reset requirement for a user's email sign-in account

  1. Sign in to Venafi Control Plane.

  2. Click Settings > Users.

  3. Locate and select the user account you want to configure.

  4. Select Require password change at next sign-in, and then click Save.

The next time the user attempts to sign in, they will be required to reset their account.
