Approver Policy¶
Approver Policy is an cert-manager approver that approves or denies certificate requests based on policies defined in the certificate request policy custom resource.
Approver Policy allows organizations to define certificate policies locally to the cluster, so they are evaluated, and then certificate requests are either approved or denied.
Approver Policy Enterprise is a plugin to the Approver Policy component that allows organizations to define certificate policies centrally in Venafi Control Plane, which are then evaluated on the clusters, and then certificate requests are either approved or denied.
