About connecting Kubernetes clusters¶
Connect Kubernetes clusters to Venafi Control Plane to gain visibility into certificate activity in your Kubernetes environments. Use Venafi Control Plane to monitor certificate health, automate issuance and renewal, and identify risks before they cause outages from expired or misconfigured certificates.
Clusters appear on the Kubernetes Clusters page, accessible from Inventory > Kubernetes Clusters.
On the Kubernetes Clusters page, you can:
-
Connect Kubernetes clusters. To connect a cluster, click Connect.
-
Disconnect Kubernetes clusters. To disconnect a cluster, on the cluster row, in the right-hand menu, click Disconnect.
-
View certificates. To view cluster certificates, on the cluster row, in the right-hand menu, click Certificates. The Certificates page appears.
-
View a status summary. In the Summary panel, view metrics including overall certificate health and total unique certificates.
-
Refine the cluster list. Above the list of clusters, search for individual clusters or apply filters to refine the results.
-
View cluster information. Expand a cluster row to view cluster details including properties and certificate issuer information.
