Creating a DevOpsACCELERATE project¶
A project contains all the information needed to make a certificate request and contains an Issuing Template that enforces your company's certificate security policies for requesting or renewing a certificate.
Projects can be created only by a System Admin, Security Admin, or PKI Administrator.
To create a project
In the menu bar, click Projects.
If an Issuing Template hasn't already been created, ask your System or Security Admin to create an Issuing Template now.
You won't be able to create a project unless at least one Issuing Template exists.
Click Create a New Project.
Give your project a name and an optional description.
Click Create a New Zone to add a zone.
In Add a Zone, give the zone a name that allows your DevOps users to know what the zone is for.
Zone names, when used in different projects, can be the same and don't have to be unique.
From the list, choose the Issuing Template that will be associated with the zone.
The Issuing Rules associated with that template are displayed when you select it.
In the DevOps Users field, click in the field to see a list of eligible members that can be invited to the project.
Click a name to select it.
When you're done, click Save or Save & New.
Your new project is displayed on the Projects page.
Click to edit the project.
Click to delete the project.
To see the details of the project¶
On the Projects page, click the tile of the project whose details you want to see.
The project's details page displays information about the project.

About DevOpsACCELERATE projects¶
DevOpsACCELERATE projects make it easy to request certificates.
Projects make it easy for different DevOps teams to set up working areas where team members can request certificates. A project contains Zones which are used by your DevOps team to request certificates.
Projects ensure that only invited members of the project can request certificates from the project's zones.
A PKI Administrator creates projects then invites his or her team to use those projects to request certificates. A project contains all the information needed to make a certificate request and is pre-configured to meet your company's certificate security policies for requesting or renewing a certificate.
